Concrete Paths & Patios in Albury–Wodonga
Paths and patios are the concrete you actually live on — bare feet on a summer evening, the kids' bikes, the path you walk every single day. We pour outdoor areas that are planned as carefully as any driveway: set out to drain away from the house, finished for grip where it gets wet, and styled to your home with plain, broom, coloured or exposed aggregate surfaces. Small slab or whole backyard, it gets the full KRG treatment.
Small slabs deserve the same respect
Plenty of concreters treat a garden path as an afterthought. We don't. Every path gets the same fundamentals as a driveway: compacted base, reinforcement, formwork set to fall, control joints and curing compound at the end. That's the difference between a path that stays flat and dry for decades and one that tilts and cracks within two winters — and it's why we never skip a step, no matter the job size.
Where new concrete meets your home, we install Ableflex expansion joints against walls and fixed structures, so the slab and your house can move independently without grinding against each other. By the book, every time.
Patios and alfresco areas you'll actually use
A great alfresco slab extends the house outdoors, and the details make or break it: we set levels to sit perfectly with your door thresholds and fall gently away so rain never heads inside. A coloured or exposed finish turns it into a designed space rather than a leftover slab — and a sealed surface makes barbecue season wonderfully forgiving.
Common questions
How soon can we walk on a new path or patio?
Foot traffic is generally fine after 24–48 hours. Give it about a week before dragging furniture across it, while the surface reaches full hardness.
Do you do small jobs?
Happily — paths, porches, bin pads, clothesline slabs and steps are bread-and-butter work for us, often combined with a bigger pour to share the truck and save you money. Send the details through and we'll quote it straight.
